Kicking Off Patio Season at Fractal

Good food, great people, and a little friendly competition.
To mark the start of summer and the grand opening of our outdoor patio, we threw a little celebration that brought the Fractal community together in true Fractal fashion: casual, joyful, and full of connection.
From the moment the afternoon began, the vibe was upbeat and easygoing. Members spilled out onto the patio to reconnect, share a few laughs, and welcome new faces to the mix. El Gringo, a beloved local taco spot, came through with a build-your-own taco bar that had everyone going back for seconds (and thirds). Tacos in hand, folks cooled off with colourful shaved ice from the Kona Ice Kingston, a sweet touch that added to the festive feel.

But the real star of the show? Our cornhole tournament hosted by Kingston Sports & Social Club. What started as a casual toss quickly escalated into a lively showdown, with teammates cheering each other on and spectators rallying from the sidelines. When the final bean bag dropped, one lucky (and impressively accurate) winner walked away with a brand new Nespresso machine and, of course, ultimate bragging rights.
Still, the heart of the day wasn’t just the food or the games. It was about pausing the hustle, stepping out into the sun, and spending time with the people who make Fractal what it is. At its core, this patio kickoff wasn’t just a party, it was a celebration of the community we’re building every day.

As summer unfolds, we’re excited to host more events that bring us together in meaningful, energizing ways. Because at Fractal, work isn’t just about productivity, it’s about belonging. And moments like these remind us why that matters.
We’re just getting started. Stay tuned for what’s next.
